Join Us at Spruce Creek

Starting new, for this the 2023-24 school year is our new Advanced Performing Arts Program at Spruce Creek High School.  This program allows students outside of the zoned Spruce Creek area to audition for a variance to attend Spruce Creek High School.  This program is open to all students at Spruce Creek as well.  Auditions will be held throughout the spring semester with the first auditions due by January 15th.  The requirements for this program can be found on the Advanced Performing Arts Website.

What is the Advanced Performing Arts Program?

The Advanced Performing Arts Program at Spruce Creek High School is a four-year, full academic curriculum, which includes honors, dual enrollment, advanced placement, and International  Baccalaureate courses. The advanced intensive arts curriculum includes dance, vocal, band, orchestra, jazz, piano, and theater (including performance, technical/design, leadership, and musical theatre).

Students must audition to be accepted into the Advanced Performing Arts Program. Each arts area audition requirements can be found on our website. If accepted, a variance will be available for your student to attend Spruce Creek if you are not zoned for SCHS.

Once accepted into the program, students will be required to take two performing arts classes a semester in their desired major along with other requirements, which can be found on the website.
