Football Program – Please continue to secure ads. Deadline has been extended until September 15, 2009. Place money for ads in band box in band room.
Shopping Cards – Walmart and Publix cards are available this evening for purchase at regular face value. Profit from this fundraiser goes to band general fund and small percentage goes into student account that purchases cards. Order forms available on the band website. Pam Alexander is the coordinator this year.
Directors’ Report – Mr. Kidd reported that the calendar has been updated. Please check the band website frequently for all updates. We will now attend two football games in November. FSU Band Day - Saturday, September 12th – 6:30 a.m. until midnight. Two charter busses, estimated cost to be $25-35. Sign-up in hallway. This is a fun day with the Marching Chiefs.
Treasurer Report - Terri Karol stated that all financial statements were e-mailed prior to the meeting and if anyone did not receive the statements, contact her at tkarol@cfl.rr.com. All band fees need to be paid in full before traveling to Europe. Those fees are as follows: $250.00 marching band, $175 Jazz, $175 Orchestra, $250 Colorguard.
Europe 2010 – Please continue to make payments. All information concerning the trip will be discussed after the conclusion of this general meeting. Handouts available on tables in the hallway. Next MANDATORY meeting is Tuesday, November 17th at 7:00 p.m. in band room.
