President  – Jenna Steen Opened meeting.  No football concessions, football parents are taking over.

Treasurer – Terri Karol  Discussed student accounts; marching, orchestra and jazz fees; lock box, drop payments with name and pllications; PO Box 29052 Port Orange FL 32129; Creekband.org website; payments can be made cash, check or credit card.

Adult Staffing – Martha Fabian  Volunteer forms must be on file for everyone volunteering, SSN and license # needed.  All VIP forms from May are processed.  All volunteer forms must be submitted and cleared before you can volunteer.  Chaperone uniform is khaki pants, burgundy shirt and comfortable shoes and must ride the bus.

Football Ads – Nancy Norman and Debby Mongato  Friday 8/5 is the last day for ads, 50/50 split between band account and student account, list of ads all ready received, web site has list of ads bought in the past that were not yet renewed,  program sold at home games with updated roster, estimated pass around rate of 1,000 programs.

Band Captain – Andrew Angelo Introduced student leaders, Drum majors Amanda Steen, Theresa Wojeck and Joe Papa; Camp has been the smoothest one so far; percussion and color guard have been working all summer; band camp schedule described; parents thanked for their help.

Band Director – Andy Kidd, John Seth:  Please come to games, all home games are at New Smyrna Beach stadium.  Band camp going well, students have completely 5 pages.  Saturday at 4 pm is an informal show to see what they have accomplished.  Calendar – bring to meetings for updates, all meetings at 7 pm.  1^st Saturday in October is Port Orange family days, possible parade and 2 jazz bands.  October 7^th open weekend, no band events.  November 5^th FBA. Musical – The Fantasticks.  Water – every parent bring a case of water before first game, 16 or 20 ounce. Students to dress in orange shirt, shorts and back socks for each game. Press photos on Friday 8/5.  Peach Bowl, 12/26 practice, 12/27 leave, Bowl on 12/30, driving home on evening of 12/30.  Rehearsals are every Tuesday 3 – 5:30 and Wednesday 2 – 4:30.

Uniforms – Mary Mathis  Will be sending only one order for jackets this year, showed shirt for under uniform.  Reminded solid black socks.
