-Solo & Ensemble performances were great. Numerous superior ratings
-State Solo & Ensemble is on March 31, 2003
-MBA is at Lake Howell on March 7, 2003
-Will perform 3 pieces and do sight-reading
-State competition is in April
-Orchestra District:
-Held at Seabreeze High School on March 14, 2003
between 2:00 p.m. 3:00 p.m.
-The reason that both bands will travel together on Friday, March 7, 2003, is because FBA asks students to listen & observe at least 3 other bands
-Students will go to the Winter Park Mall and then return to the competition

-Lakeside Jazz Festival:
-US Band Quintet is free on Saturday night
-US Navy Band-Saturday Night
-Bethune Cookman-Friday Night
-Dixie Classic:
-Itinerary passed out to all parents

-Bad news: only 54 students have brought in items. This is only 1/3 of the band students
-Sign up sheets to volunteer for Saturday set up are available
-Sign up sheets to volunteer for Sunday Table Monitors are available
-Please wear Black or Gray Band Shirts
-Only cash and checks will be accepted. No credit cards will be accepted
